FLY TRAPS FOR EXTERNAL USE WITH RECURRING FLY INVASION

Non - toxic fly traps for external use are beneficial for recurring fly invasions.

Some properties have a vulnerability to flies congregating in large numbers outside and unfortunately internally. An invasion, for example, of cluster and yellow swarming flies can be very unsettling.

One of my suppliers explains about cluster flies: "Complete control of cluster flies is almost impossible since the over wintering adults are concealed in walls, attics, etc. and often it is impossible to prevent them getting in. Very little of a 'permanent' nature can be done to prevent problems the following year."

Problems can be minimised with fly traps. They are chemical-free and use a protein-based bait that is activated by adding water. These traps can lure up to 40,000 flies.

With around 85% of the flies caught in the trap being female, you can bring the entire fly population in the area under control. Once caught, the flies cannot escape, and the flies cannot build immunity to the bait.

They are designed as fly traps for external use where they can be in direct sunlight up to a maximum of 15 metres away from your property, in order to draw the flies away and into the trap.

Three Counties Pest Control can supply these traps and provide internal knockdown treatments.
