MOUSE IN YOUR HOUSE? WHAT CAN YOU DO?

Updated: Mar 19, 2023

Did you know that if you can put a pencil into a hole, a mouse can put its head in, knowing that it can get its body through? Remarkably, it can collapse its ribs and get through a gap into your property that would seem physically impossible. Rats can do the same in a hole the size of a pound coin.

Mouse in your house? What can you do? Give Three Counties Pest Control a call. We can do a number of things to help you:

1/ Remove the rodents from inside your property.

It can be incredibly upsetting to spot a rodent in your house or business. Also, it is unsettling to see or hear evidence of an unwanted visitor - for instance, the scratching around in the loft that wakes you up. By listening to our customers and carrying out a thorough survey, we can determine the creatures' movements and create a strategy to catch them.

2/ Take action to reduce external rodent activity.

Rodents inside a property are indicative of some level of external activity. We also apply appropriate baiting and trapping strategies to the exterior of your residence or business. This enables us to monitor activities and take steps to control rodent numbers. Caveat: most pest controllers will never guarantee complete eradication. However, there are more things we can do to help you protect yourselves from invasion and re-invasion...

3/ Advise on proofing measures.

Prevention is better than cure! If rodents have found ingress points into your building, these points will need to be proofed to reduce the likelihood of a recurring problem. We can provide cost effective preventative measures. The consequences of not proofing can include the cost of structural damage from rodent gnawing, the fire risks from chewed electrical cables, water and gas leaks from gnawed pipes and the emotional distress caused by the presence of pests.

4/ Low cost and effective pest control contracts.

Whether the location of your property makes it more prone to rodent infestation or where pest control is vital to maintain the reputation of your business, we can provide tailor made solutions to manage pests with regular site visits. Why not call us for a free, no obligation assessment with quotation?
